(1) Any person who during the hours fixed for the poll at any polling stat iol: Penalty for misconducts himself or fails to obey the lawful directions of the polling officer may misconduct at he removed from the poiling station by the polling officer or by ally police officer polling station. on duty or by any person authorisec in this behalf by such pollirg officer. (2) The powers wnferrec; umer sub-section (1' shall not he exercised so as to prevent any elector who is othemise entitled to vote et a polling station froln having an opportunity of votiqg at that polling station. (3) If any person who has been so retlioved fro111 a polling station re-enters the polling station without the permission of the polling offic(:r he shall be punisheb with rmprisonment for a term which may extenc! to thrze rnonths, or with fine or with both. (4) An offence punishable under sub-section (3) shall be cognizable.
