Reservation of appointments : Where direct recruitment is resorted to and where the Special Rules lay down that the principle of reservation of appointments shall apply to any service or category, appointment thereto shall be made with reference to Rule 22 of the Tamilnadu State and Subordinate Service Rules as amended by Tamilnadu Government from time to time.
