Bar of Jurisdiction of civil courts.- Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, no civil court shall have jurisdiction in respect of any matter which the Government are, or the prescribed authority is, empowered by or under this Act, to determine and no injunction shall be granted by any court or other authority in respect of any action taken or to be taken in pursuance of any power conferred by or under this Act. NOTES Allottee filing a suit for declaration that he is not liable for eviction when appeal pending against cancelling allotment. Civil Court have no jurisdiction to entertain suit if the allotment is cancelled by the Slum Clearance Board under statutory power and especially when the matter is pending on appeal before the court under the Act. 1996(1) MLJ 347.
