This Act may be cited as the S(Tamil Nadu) short title. Rivers Conservancy Act, 1884. 1 The words "Provinoial Go~ernment" were substituted for the words " Uovernor in Council by the Adaptation Order of I937 and the word "Provincial " was omitted by the Adaptation(Arnend- ment) Order of 1960.
