Act to apply to certain tenant farming societies.- (1) For the purposes of this Act, the tenant farming societies specified in Societies specified in Schedule II shall be deemed to have been registered under this Chapter on the notified date and the provisions of this Act shall, as far as may be, apply to such tenant farming societies. (2) The Government may by notification, add any tenant farming society registered under the Co-operative Societies Act, before the date of the commencement of this Act and in possession of land belonging to any public trust to, or omit any tenant farming society from, Schedule II; and, on the publication of such notification, such tenant farming society shall be deemed to be included in, or as the case may be, omitted from, Schedule II.
