- S. 1( 1 ) This Act may be called tlle I'*il
- S. 2The section amends the title of the act to replace "eve-teasing" with "harassment of women."
- S. 3Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Eve-Teasing Act, 1998, prohibits eve-teasing in public places and prescribes penalties for offenders.

- S. 6For section 4 of the principal Act, the following section sliall be substituted, namely:- Substitution of section 4
- S. 8In section 5 of the principal Act, in sub-section (I), for the expression "eve-teasing" in two ofsection5
- S. 10In section 7 of the principal Act,- ( I ) for sub-section ( I ) , the following sub-section shdll be substituted
