In section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997,— Amendment of section 3. (1) in sub-section (1),— (i) in the fi rst proviso, for the expression “nine months”, the expression “fi fteen months” shall be substituted; (ii) in the second proviso, for the expression “twelve months”, the expression “eighteen months” shall be substituted; (2) to sub-section (2), the following proviso shall be added, namely:— “Provided that no fee shall be collected from the clinical establishments established and administered or maintained by the State Government or Central Government or any Departments of the State Government or Central Government or a company owned or controlled by the State Government or Central Government or a local authority.”.
