(I) This Act may b~ called thz "[Tamil Nadu] extent and Prevention of Begging Act, 1945. c o ~ c e - (2) It extends to the whole of the 3[State of .; Tamil Nadu]. *(3) Thts section shall come into force at once ; and the 5[State] Government may, froin time to time by notification in the Fort St, George Gazette, direct that the rern-lining provisions of this Act shall come into force in such local area and on such date, its mav be specified in the notification.
