Any Forest Officer or Police Officer who vexatously and unnecessarily seizes any property on pretence of seizing property liable to confiscation under this Act, or who vexatiously and unnecessarily arrests any person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or will fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
