Notwithstand ing anytbing contained in sub-section (1) of section 14, within & t-t of Gazette, the first Registrar shall be appointed by the Government on a salary to P three months from the date of publication of this Act in the Tamil Nadu Government nRegistrar. be k e d by them for a period not exceeding three years and on such conditions as they think fit : Provided that the person appoi-lted as first Registrar shall retire from office if, during the term of' his office, he completes the age of fifty- eight years.
