The University shall have a General Fund to which shall be credited-- (a) its income from fees, grants, donations and gifts, if any ; lb) any contribution or grant made by the erltral Government, State Goveqment, the University Grants Commission or l ~ k e authority, any local authorrty or any oorporation owned or controlled by the Government ; and (I,) endowments and other reoeipts. (3) The Ur~iverity may, in consultation with the Finance Committee, invest the provident fund amount in such manner as it may determine.
