Electoral roll for Panchayat Union Council.- (1) Subject to the provision of sub-section (2), the electoral roll of the District Panchayat for the time being in force for such part of the Panchayat Union shall be deemed to be the electoral roll for such Panchayat Union Council. (2) No amendment, transposition or deletion of any entry in the electoral roll of the District Panchayat made after the last date of making nominations for an election in any Panchayat Union Council ward and before the notification of the result of such election, shall form part of the electoral roll for such election for the purpose of this Section. (3) The Commissioner of Panchayat Union Council shall maintain in the prescribed manner, electoral roll for each ward in the Panchayat Union. DISTRICT PANCHAYATS
