y of the State of Tamil Naduin the Fifty-sixth Year (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Third Amendment) Act, (2) It shall be deemed to have comeinto force on the 25th day of April 2005. 2 In section 9-A of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (2), for the expression “24th day of April 2005”, the expression “24th day of October 2005” shall be substituted. 3 In section 261 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), for the expression “24th day of April 2005”, the expression “24th day of October 2005” shall be substituted.
