Appointment of officers to supervise Panchayats.- (1) The Government may appoints such officers as may be required for the purpose of inspecting or superintending the operations of all or any of the Panchayats constituted under this Act. (2) The Government shall have power to regulate by rules made under this Act, the classifications, methods of recruitment, conditions of service, pay and allowances and discipline and conduct of the officers referred to in sub-section (1) and of the members of their establishments.
