Electoral roll for Village Panchayats.- (1) Subject to the provision of sub- section (2), the electoral roll of the Panchayat Union Council for the time being in force in a Panchayat Village shall be deemed to be the electoral roll for such Village Panchayat. (2) No amendment, transposition or deletion of any entry in the electoral roll of the Panchayat Union Council made after the last date of making nominations for an election in any Village Panchayat ward and before the notification of the result of such election, shall form part of the electoral roll for such election for the purpose of this Section. (3) The Executive Authority of the Village Panchayat shall maintain in the prescribed manner, an electoral roll for each ward of the Panchayat Village. PANCHAYAT UNION COUNCILS
