Short title und commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the Pa~!i,:yap~a'~ ~ m t and the scheduled Public Trusts and Endowments (Takii.2 over of Manage- ment) Amendment Act, 1988. I (2) It shall come into force at once. - 2, Amendment of section 3.-In section 3 of the Pachaiyappa's Trust and the Tamil N:&U Scheduled Public Trusts and Endowments (Taking over of Management) Act, 1981 Act 11 of fieein$ter referred to as the pr~ncipal Act), in sub-$&ion (1), for the words 1981* eight years ", the words " nine years " shall be substituted. j, Amendment of section 8.-In section 8 of the principal Act, for the words eight years ", occurrifig in two places, the words "nine years" shall be substituted.
