(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Non-trading Short title, Companies Act, 1972. extent, wm- mencement (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu. and appllca- (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. (4) It shall apply to a company as defined in section 2 of this Act.
