(1) There shall be established in the State, a University by the name “The Tamil Nadu National Law University”. (2) The University shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire and hold property, to contract and shall by the said name, sue and be sued.
