The General Council shall have the following powers, namely:— (a) to review from time to time the broad policies and programme of the University and suggest measures for the improvement and development of the University; (b) to consider and pass the resolution on the annual report, financial estimates and the audit reports on such accounts; and (c) to perform such other functions as it may deem necessary for the efficient functioning and administration of the University.
