Application of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 to manual workers. ----- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act XI of 1948), the provisions of that Act shall apply to the manual workers employed in any scheduled employment, as if the employment specified in the schedule to this Act had been specified in the schedule to the said Central Act.
