Dm sb Ww THE MADRAS UNIVERSITY ACT, 1923 21 '[@i) ‘Statutes’, ‘Ordinances’ and ‘Regulations’ mean respectively the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations of the University made under this Act.] *[(Gj) ‘Teachers’ means, such professors, assistant professors, readers, lecturers, librarians and other like persons as may be declared by the Statutes to be teachers.] (k) ‘Teachers of the University’ means, persons appointed by the University to give instructions on its behalf.
