As soon as practicable after the completion of the audit, but not later than three months thereafter, the Director shall send to the Executive authority concerned a report on the accounts audited by him and copies of the report to such officers and bodies or institutions, as the Government may direct or as may be specified under the law governing that local authority or local fund, as the case may be.
