(1) The principal Act, as in force immediately of before the commei~cenlent of this Act in the 2[State of llTamil Nadu Act] 111 of 1905 Tamil Nadu] except in the added territories and as amen- to the added ded by this Act (hereinafter in this section referred to as ~ ~ f ~ the l[Tamil Nadu Act]), is hereby extended to, and shall savings. be in force in, the added territories.
