(1) The provisions of this Act shall have effect laws. notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other Act, law, custom, usage or contract. (2) Save as otherwise provided in sub-section (I), the provisions of this Act shall, be in addition to, and- not in derogation of, any other Act, 1978 : T.N.
