(1) This Act may be called the lnamil- Nadu] Inam Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ry otwar j) Act, 1963. (2) It extends to the whole of' the 8[State of Tamil , Nadu], except- (i) the Shencottah taluk of the Tirunelveli district ; (ii) the Kanyakumari district ; and (iii) the territories specified in the Second Schedule to the Andhra Pradesh and Madras (Alteration of Bound- aries) Act, 1959 (Centr-! Lrf 55 of 1959).
