(1) The Government may, by notification, authorise any authority or officer to exercise any of the powers vested in them by this Act, other than the powers conferred by sections 55, 65 and 66 and may, in like manner, withdraw such authorisation. (2) The exercise of any power delegated under sub-section (1) shall be subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be specified in the notification and also to control and revision by the Government.
