(1) It shall be liwful for the '[Deputy Com- Grant of driver'e missioner] to grant a licence to act as driver of any licence. hackney carriage to any applicant whom he may consider fit. (2) Eveqr such licence shell contrtin- Form0 licence. the number of the licence, the name, place of abode and age of the person to whom such licence is granted, the description of oahiage and animals, if any, to be used therewith, and the date on which the licence was granted, and shall bear the signature of the lweputy Corn- missioner].
