(1) Every person who shall, for the purpose usinl~ oountem of deception, use or have any plate resembling or in- foit plate. tended to resemble anv plat0 affixed under this Act, shall be punishable with-fine which may extend to fifty rupees, and in the case of a subsequent conviction under this section with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees or with imprisonment for a torm which may extend to one month. Sei~ure of (2) Any police-officer may seke and take away oounte~feit any plate used or bad as aforesaid, wheresoever the plak. same may be found, and deliver the same? to the @6puty Commissioner].
