(1) Whenever the owner of a hackney carri- ohange of reridenoe, age changes his residence, or the place where such ebo., to be c&rria.ge is kept, he shall within one week from the given by lioemee. date of such change forward his licence and give to the P ~ p u l i y Commissioner] a notice in writing signed by him speciffig the new residence *place. Penalty. (2) Every such owner who neglects to forward his licence and give such notice shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twent y rupees.
