Aet V] jfiackneg Carriage ' 697 (3) (i) The '[State Government] m y , by LO,,^ notific&tion, extend to such other parts of the '[State of extent* Tamil Nadu] as it may think fit all or any of the provi- sions of this Act from a date to be specified in the notifi- cation, which shall not be less than three months fkom the date of the notification : Provided that no such notification shall be issued unless notioe of the proposed extension inviting objections thereto shaA have been published not less than two months previously. (ii) The [State Government] may, by notification, cancel or modify any such notification as is referred to in clause (i)].
