Every person in whose favour an order for payment has been made by the Tribunal, shall make an application for payment within three months from the date of the order. Provided that the Tribunal may, within such further time not exceeding six months, as it may, in its discretion allow, admit a claim preferred after the period of three months aforesaid, if it is satisfied that the claimant had sufficient cause for not preferring the claim within that period : Provided further that, when an appeal has been filed before the Special Appellate Tribunal against the said order for payment, the aforesaid period of three months shall be reckoned from the date of the decision of the Special Appellate Tribunal on the appeal.
