Cattle trespassing in a reserved forest, on lands on which the grazing of cattle has been prohibited by rules made under section 26 or which has been closed under section 27, shall be deemed to be cattle doing damage to a public plantation within the meaning of the eleventh section of the Cattle Trespass Act, 1871, and may be seized and impounded as such by a Forest Officer or Police Officer. Power to alter fines fixed by that Act.
