(1) The Minister-in-charge of the portfolio of Fisheries in the State shall be the Pro-Chancellor of the University. (2) When the Chancellor is unable to discharge his duties owing to absence, illness or any other cause, the Pro-Chancellor shall discharge the duties of the Chancellor until the date on which the Chancellor resumes his duties.
