In section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Amendment of 30 of 1991. Special Officers) Act; 1991, in sub-section (2), tor the words "for a period of four 8Wtjon 4. years and six months with effect on and from the appointed day", the expression " upto the 31st day of May 1996" shall be substituted.
