In sectien 20 of the 1984 Act, in cltiuse (c), for the expression " Savc as other- ' I of I wise provided, nominated members of the Academic Committee shall hold office section 20. for a period of three years ", the following shall be substituted, namely :- i - "'(i) Save as otherwise provided, nominated members of the Academic Committee shall hold d c * far a period of three years and such members shall b.: eligible'for nomination for not mor; than another period ot thr,c years. i(ii)-Where a mnmber is norqinated to the- Academic Committee to a casual vacancy, the 'priod of office held for not less than one year by any such member shall !be csnst ued as a full period of three years for the purpose of this clause.
