Establishment of market committee.- (1) The Government shall establish a market committee for every notified area. It shall be the duty of the market committee to enforce the provisions of this Act and the rules and by- laws made under this Act in such notified area. (2) Where, after the establishment of a market committee under sub- section (1) any agricultural produce is notified in relation to the notified area for which the market committee has been established, then, the market committee shall be deemed, to have been established in respect of that agricultural produce also. 7
