(1) This Act may be called the Tan~il Nadu Additional Sales Tax (Amendment) Short title and Act, 1999. conmlencc- nlerrt. (2) Sub-clausc (c) of clausc (2) of sectioli 2 shall be deemed to have come into forcc on the 1st day of April 1997.
