The Central Government shall, from the date of occurrence of any vacancy by reason of death, resignation or removal of the Chairperson or any Member of the Claims Commission, appoint another person in accordance with the provisions of this Act to fill such vacancy and the proceedings may be continued before the Claims Commission from the stage at which it was, before the vacancy is filled.
