(1) The base unit of mass specified in section 6 and base units of measures specified in sections 5 and sections 7 to 11 (both inclusive) and the supplementary and other units specified by rules made under section 12, shall be the standard units of weight or measure, as the case may be. (2) The units of numeration specified by or under section 13 shall be the standard units of numeration.
