The State Government may cause to be prepared at a Mint as many sets of secondary standard or wc rk ing standard, verified and authenticated bv thc Mint in such o . / manner as may be specified under the Central Act, as it may think necessary: Provided that where the Mint intimates the State Government in writing that it is unable to prepare secondary standard or working standard weight or measure, that Government may cause such secondary standard or working standard weight or measure to be prepared by such person as it may think fit and such secondary standard or working standard weight or measure shall be verified and authenticated by such authority as may be specified by rules made under this Act and every such verification and authentication shall be made in the manner specified under the Central Act.
