ln the principa Act, for sectlon 19, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "19. lndemnity Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being ln force or any deed executing under ihis Act or rules made thereunder, the Government or its officers and employees shall not be liable for any damage to, or penalty for, dlscontinujng the supply of water or reducing the supply of water or failure to supply water to any person or to any area if the cause of such failure to supp y water to any person or to any area, is due to source depletion, drought, damage, accident, re-laying or repairing pipes or any other circumstance that is beyond the control of the Government, its olfjcers and employees."
