(1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Urban and Regionai Planning and Development Act, 1998. (2) It extends to the whole of Sikkim. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Offica! Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
