(1) This Act may be called The Sikkim Tenants and Domestic and Professional Helps (Compulsory Verification) Act, 2008. (2) It extents to the whole of Sikkim. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint. Definitions
