Any person who contravenes any provision of this Act, or of any rule or bye-laws or order issued there under shall be punishable with simple imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both: Provided that in the case of a continuing contravention of the provisions of Section 41 , he shall be liable to be punished with a further fine which may extend to one hundred rupees for every day during which the contravention is continued after the first conviction.
