in to various categories on the basis of the criteria as may be prescribed. 20 (1) State Government may by notification declare any market area as 'Special Market' or 'Special Commodity Market' after consideration of such aspects as turnover, serving large area and special infrastructure requirements of particular commodity, to be operated in addition to the existing market. (2) Save as provided under sub-section (1) of Section 14,the State Government may by notification, establish separate Market Committee for effective implementation of provisions of this Act for such markets which are notified as special market under sub- section (1). (3) All provisions for and in relation to the Market Committee made in the Act shall mutatis mutandis apply to the Market Committee established for the special market under sub- section (1).
