(I) Except on the day that may be notified under sub-section (3) of section 18, no employee shall be re9..uired or allowed to work in a residential hotel, restaurant and eating house for more than nine hours in a day or sub-section (I) if such period not exceed three hours on any day. (2) On the days which may be notified under sub-section (3) of section 18, any employee may be required or allowed to work in a residential hotel, restaurant and eating house in excess of the period fixed under sub-section (I) if such period does not exceed three hours on any day. 2 I. The period of work of an employee in a residential hotel, restaurant or eating house each day shall be so fixed that no period of continuous work shall exceed five hours and that no employee shall be required or allowed to work for more than five hours before he has had an interval for rest of at least one hour.
