Section 26

Offences to be triable by a Magistrate of the first class and not to be compoundable.

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (5 of 1898),-- (a) every offence against this Act shall be triable by a Magistrate of the first class, and (b) no offence against this Act shall be compoundable.
