Section 30

Registration by Registrars in certain cases.

(1) Any Registrar may in his discretion receive and register any document which might be registered by any Sub-Registrar subordinate to him. 1 * * * * * STATE AMENDMENT Karnataka Amendment of section 30.-- In Section 30 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Central Amendment 16 of 1908) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), the brackets and figure (1) and 'sub-section (2)' shall be omitted.] [ Vide Karnataka Act 24 of 1989, s. 2] Orissa Amendment of section 30.-- In the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 30, sub-section (2) shall be omitted. [ Vide Orissa Act 19 of 1991, s. 2] Haryana Amendment of section 30 of Central Act 16 of 1908.-- Sub-section (2) of section 30 of the Registration Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), shall be omitted.
