(1) There shall be such faculties in the University as may be prescribed by the statutes. (2) Each faculty shall consist of the following, namely :- (a) Dean of the Faculty- Chairman; (b) University Professors of the subject assigned to the faculty; (c) Chairmen of the Boards of Studies in the Faculty; (d) One post-graduate college Principal and one post-graduate department Head in each subject of the faculty from affiliated colleges, nominated by the State Government; (e) Two external experts nominated by the Academic Council. (3) Faculty shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
