Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012. Ord.Pt.4(Ka)(I) dated 22.5.2012 effective from 26.1.2013. 5 (3) It shall come into force on such date* as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint: Provided that different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and any reference in any such provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the coming into force of that provision. S.O.217. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Act No.21 of 2012), the State Government hereby appoints 26th January, 2013 as the date, on which all the provisions of said Act shall come into force.
